At the ANNUAL VILLAGE MEETING on 11 May 2017, there was a unanimous decision for the Village to produce a Neighbourhood Development Plan and a Steering Group was formed to take on this project.

Residents and Councillors came forward to form the Steering Group :

Tony Warren (Chairman), Julie Tomblin, Regine Freyne, Sue Cameron, Alan Stone and Anne Mingins.

An Application  for the Designation of the Neighbourhood Area and Plan  was submitted to Cotswold District Council on 17 May 2017 and an Approval Letter  and Notice  were received the same day 17 May 2017.

The Steering Group’s first meeting was held on 30 May 2017 when Terms of Reference were ageed and a Communications and Engagement Strategy developed with a list of statutory Consultees.

The Referendum was held on 6 May 2021.  88.62 % of those voting, voted in favour of the Plan with only 11.38 % voting against.  This was an amazing result and well deserved after 4 years hard work.
